US Diclo™ 1.6% diclofenac sodium topical gel is a prescription-strength topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve localized pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with musculoskeletal conditions.
It is commonly prescribed for:
- Joint pain (e.g., knees, hands, elbows)
- Osteoarthritis-related pain
- Muscle and soft tissue inflammation
- Tendon and ligament pain
- Pain related to overuse or repetitive activity
US Diclo™ is designed for local application at the site of pain, allowing targeted anti-inflammatory treatment without the need for oral NSAIDs.

Pain and swelling occur when injured or irritated tissues produce inflammatory chemicals.
US Diclo™ works by reducing inflammation directly where it starts.
When applied to the skin, diclofenac penetrates into the underlying tissues and helps decrease the substances that cause pain, swelling, and stiffness.
When administered topically:
- Diclofenac concentrates in superficial joints and soft tissues
- Reduces local prostaglandin production
- Decreases inflammation, pain, and swelling at the application site
Topical delivery allows diclofenac to exert its anti-inflammatory effects locally, with significantly lower systemic exposure compared to oral NSAIDs.
